Bringing you some of the entertainment we missed this summer!

Like so many other events, the AMGH Foundation’s Gala, that was planned for this September, had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. But the Foundation isn’t going to let that stop them from finding creative ways to continue to support the healthcare needs of the community.

Tune in to be entertained in the comfort of your home, by artists you could normally expect to see at the Celtic Festival, Canadiana Musicfest, Summerfest, Multicultural Festival, Music in the Fields, and others. Confirmed acts include:

Hosting fundraising events naturally comes with expenses and sponsorships ensure that those costs are covered. This means that all donations made during the event can go directly to supporting the healthcare equipment needs of the Hospital, to benefit patient care.

Special Auction Item

Enjoy an intimate dinner with friends in your own home.

4-course locally inspired dinner for 4, including wine, prepared by Kim Burgsma, former chef of Samuels Hotel.

Bidding for this special experience will be conducted through a closed email process. Bids can be submitted to amgh.foundation@amgh.ca, starting Saturday September 19 at 7:30pm. Starting bid $100. Minimum bid increment $25. Bidders will be advised as bids are raised. Bidding will close at 7:30pm on Saturday September 26, and the winner will be announced live during the event.
